This Washington DC-based duo interprets Brazilian sounds in amazing ways. TC makes abstract, mid tempo dance tunes with a strong Brazilian groove. Mirror Conspiracy, on which this track is included, is a very mellow, deliberately international mixture of sounds that might be called lounge music but in the sense of a laid-back local bar. Rob Garza and Eric Hilton are admirers of the Brazilian sound and Brazil gets its due on the percussive "Air Batucada," the more bossa nova-like "So Com Voce," and this track.
